Liberté is HMCo# 1093, an original Herreshoff Columbia sailing dinghy/lifeboat, built at the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company in 1928. She is a rare find and has had a remarkable restoration. Discovered in a barn in Vermont, she was brought back to Rhode Island and restored by the reknowned International Yacht Restoration School in Newport R.I. The restoration was completed based on drawings and plans secured from The Hart Nautical Museum at M.I.T. She features three oarlock positions.
